I'm obviously not dumping enough time into this blog, so instead of doing any work on that Stalin midterm, or the stat homework, or my monster 20 page Chinese Ecology paper, I'm going to talk to you about Doctor McNinja.
Who is Dr. McNinja?
drmcninja.com chronicles the Adventures of Dr. McNinja, who is both a doctor and a ninja. I started following it back in 2007 and I've been solidly entertained every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday since! The writing is consistently creative and charming and the art is top-notch. Coincidentally, both are done by creator Chris Hastings, who recently recruited a colorist that has really added a whole new dimension to the art.
In the world of Dr. McNinja, Dracula lives on the moon and Ronald McDonald is an evil mime. Even trite concepts like pirate/ninja rivalries and zombie invasions are pulled off masterfully, which is to say in a way that is equal parts hilarious and awesome.
Why do I have him on speed dial?
Well...
Moreover, a day with Dr. McNinja would be the best day of my life. No doubt. His is a life of pure comics, which is to say fun bridled only by the most cursory logic. You will believe a man can jump to the moon.
